Ferrari F80 is an alien among the existing cars and it comes directly from designer Adriano Raeli.
The concept is supposed to be a supercar, perfect for F1 races. Nevertheless, the author of the concept car says that it should also be street legal. The main source of inspiration for this hot creation was the NGAD – Next Generation Air Dominance project.
Adriano says that F80 should be powered by a bi-turbo V8 engine, which should produce approximately 900 hp. The engine will be teamed up with a KERS system, which should add about 300 hp to the engine’s capacity, leading to a total power of 1200 hp. The engine-KERS system combination has been already successfully used on Ferrari LaFerrari.
The amazing propulsion system should help the car reach the first 100 km/h in less than 2 seconds, topping at 500 km/h. The low weight of 800 kg should help the car reach these astonishing performances.
Ferrari presented the concept car at the Geneva Motor Show. No info about it reaching a production version has been made official yet.
